How Our Services Fit Together
Elevated Outdoors provides excavation and outdoor services in Glens Falls, Queensbury, Saratoga Springs, Lake George, Fort Ann, Argyle and nearby towns. Many jobs need more than one service, such as clearing a lot before the dig or grading and seeding after it, and because we handle all of them, your project stays with one crew and one schedule. Call us at (518) 760-1339 if you're not sure where your job fits.
Site Work From Clearing to Final Grade
Excavation is the main part of our work, and on a new home we handle everything except the structure itself. A site usually starts with land clearing, moves through the foundation dig and the concrete work that goes with it, and ends with the driveway base and the final grade. When something old is in the way, demolition takes it down first.
Tree Removal for Homes and Building Lots
Tree removal is one of our main services, from a dead tree leaning toward the house to a few trees standing where a garage or driveway is planned. Trees near buildings come down in sections so each piece can be controlled, and when a tree is cleared for construction, the excavation can follow with the same crew.
Lawn Care, Landscaping and Hardscaping
Lawn maintenance runs through the growing season. For bigger changes to the yard, landscaping covers grading, beds, mulch, stone and new seed, and hardscaping covers retaining walls, walkways and paths built on a dug and packed base that holds up through the frost.
Snow Removal Through the Winter
From November into March, the work turns to snow removal. Winter service runs on a list, so the best time to call is in the fall, before the first storm, when there's time to go over what needs clearing and where the snow can be piled.

Which Service Do You Need?
With land clearing, then excavation. The trees and brush come off the house site and the driveway, then the ground is dug for the foundation. On a new home, we handle everything except the building itself.
Usually grading, which is part of our excavation and landscaping work. Ground that slopes toward the house sends water at the foundation. Call and describe where the water sits or comes in.
One or a few trees is tree removal, and a whole area of trees and brush is land clearing. Either way, we can get the ground ready for the project afterward.
Landscaping is the soft side of the yard: beds, mulch, grass and the grading under them. Hardscaping is the built side: retaining walls, walkways and paths.
Excavation, plus land clearing first if the driveway runs through woods. The ground under a driveway, dug out and built back up with a packed gravel base, decides how well it holds up.
Yes. Larger jobs often combine two or more, such as clearing, excavation and grading on a new house site, and keeping them with one crew keeps the steps in the right order.
